Is Masturbation Advisable?
Masturbation has been and still is to some degree a taboo subject. Men and women both masturbate, but whereas less than half of all women masturbate, the vast majority of men do.
We will not get into a religious discussion here except to say that since virtually all men masturbate, if God was so set against it, then heaven will only contain some women and a few really screwed up guys.
Sexual Pleasure
Masturbation is a way to release sexual tension as well as a recreation in its own right. It is usually pleasurable and easy to do, but because of modern society, it is something that is hidden from view and is done in privacy.
Even those who tell you not to do it, have done it, or do it. Those that try to stop for one reason or another will do it again. Sexual urges are very strong.
Strangely enough, even though virtually all men masturbate, it is an insult if one of them accuses the other of doing so (i.e., “you are a wanker”), which is very strange and serves to point out just how illogical and irrational much of societies dictates are.
If you are a younger male and you are called a ‘wanker’ or something similar as an insult, try saying:
“of course I masturbate, all men do, are you telling me you’ve never had the pleasure?”
Or if you wish to be insulting in return, just add: “Do you have difficulty getting it up?” at the end of the previous question.
Mostly masturbation is a brief affair. Simply because, it is usually done with what little privacy can be achieved and so is done to minimize being ‘caught in the act’.
Techniques To Prolong The Pleasure
It can be delayed by pausing and squeezing techniques so as to lengthen the sexual pleasure. Try getting to the point of orgasm and then stop touching for a while until the orgasm subsides and then start again.
There are a lot of variations in technique. Most men however, seem to arrive at there preferred method very early in their sex life and do not tend to change much over the years. There are toys available to enhance masturbation for men and women. For a lot of men, most of them are simply objects that they need to hide and then dread the eventual discovery.
Getting Caught
If you're young, you're told that it spoils sex for marriage. Or you'd go blind from this practice. All just stories to stop you from doing something that comes naturally to everyone. Your body naturally has sexual urges even in your sleep, hence wet dreams. It is inbuilt in all of us, so as to keep populating the earth.
Most married men also masturbate, the majority of times hidden from their wives. This is because whilst male masturbation is virtually universal in practice, a wife will see his masturbation as a poor reflection on her sexual performance and so become insulted.
Sadly, if he forcefully refrains from masturbating because of pressure from his wife, research shows that their sex life and relationship will likely suffer. In other words it can be beneficial.
Whether you are single or married, young or old, just remember that when you masturbate it is natural and good and that the problem is with society, not you.
